Tennessee Wife Kills Pastor Husband

Mary Winkler age 32, held without bond in Selmer, Tennessee had all she could take, or either took all she could get...$$$$$!

She couldn't take another day of criticizing, nagging, or questioning! Matthew Winkler was the pastor of the Church of Christ in Selmer, Tennessee, a small town about 80 miles east of Memphis. The Winklers have three daughters.

She alleged that she knew he kept a 12-gauge pump shotgun in the closet but she did not remember retrieving it.

"The next thing I remember was hearing a loud boom. I remember thinking it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be," according to TBI Agent Brian Booth.

Winkler said the two had argued throughout the evening about several things, including family finances. The problems were "mostly my fault," she said, because she was in charge of keeping the family books.

"He had really been on me lately criticizing me for things - the way I walk, I eat, everything. It was just building up to a point. I was tired of it. I guess I got to a point and snapped," Booth read to the court.

Does that justify her taking a 12-gauge pump shotgun from a closet and blowing her Pastor hubby away? Go Figure....

The majority of murders taking place today are from people who profess to be either "Christians or Catholics". These people either "hear voices" or have been under the direction of a fanatical christian-freak leader that has brainwashed them. Most women have been told they are "Evil" stemming from Christianity's denigration of women down through the ages. Andrea Yates, who drowned her five children, is a good example.

They've been fed this "Male-Macho, I'm the Man, You're the Woman" crap all of their lives, and Christian men are the worst...they actually believe that woman is to blame for all the wickedness and injustice in the world. Their "Bible Tells Them So" (Continued in another post)

Women who have grown up in strict christian homes, with parents steadfast in their views on the roles of women within the church and home are the worst affected. This is comparable to the slutty-hell raising- substance abuse stricken females with clergy fathers. It's called the "Preachers Daughter Syndrome"...everyone has known at least one , I'm sure, and this stigma is partly fact. The child does not live up to the hard-core expectations of the father, and sometimes the saintly "Mother", becomes a co-dependant, acts out anxieties in the social realm....no matter what, she's game!

They do this as a dual personality, similar to the attributes of the zodiac sign "Gemini", which expresses duality. On one hand they are the apple of their "Father's" eye", attending church services, putting on the glamour of the demure, christian socialite....for all the congregation to put on a pedestal and view. These children are usually the "role models" for other children in the congregation, or at least, that's how it's suppose to be, according to the "Christians".

On the other hand, a dark side emerges, the rebellion, boozing, brazen, ball anyone and everyone hotty, with a penchant for the "Forbidden" or "Taboo" that would make any father, especially a "Frocked Father" lower his head in shame, guilt and remorse. She finds ways to humiliate and hurt the man who is so loved by his "Flock", pushing every "eccelisiastical button" he has...at the same time, pulling herself into her own hellish abyss.

She seeks out the affection of undesirable men, who introduce her to a lifestyle not befitting of the role she must play before her father's congregation. These men would not be approved of by her parents, if anything, they would be an apparent disgrace.

Whatever the case, Mary Winkler, snapped.....couldn't take another criticism and evidently whatever it was he said to her drove her into such a rage that she couldn't even remember getting the gun out of the closet. Perhaps she suffered from the duality of living a life of pastoral morbidity that had stifled her as a woman, and taken away her self-esteem to the point of madness....

There is no justification for taking the life of another, but it happens, everyday. It's called "Domestic Violence" and it's real. It affects people from all walks of life and now it's affecting "The Christians"

Perhaps, Mary had become the proverbial "Crack Whore"! The Pastor, allegedly criticized about her eating habits, so there you go....was she starving herself because of crack" ? How do "Crack Whore's Eat"? What do they eat? How do they walk? He also didn't like the way she walked?

We may never know, perhaps it will come out in the trial! Maybe, she was just overwhelmed from living the life of a stingy Pastors wife.

Maybe she was possessed by a demon!

Nonetheless, she was a Mother with three precious daughters that have lost their father and their mother.

You are given children as a gift from God, and when you place drugs or alcohol before them, you are allowing evil to take the place of your children. The laws are not strict enough on this, and Childrens Protective Services are inefficient and non-productive.

Laws need to be in place for parents who use dangerous drugs, such as cocaine and heroin. There should not be a second-chance for parents, they should go to Iraq and fight for the Iraqi's freedom and bring our boys home.
