A Chill Wind Doth Blow

Listen to the words of the Mother......
I am the Gracious Goddess, who gives the gift of joy unto the heart of
man. Upon earth, I give the knowledge of the spirit eternal and beyond
death, I give peace and freedom and reunion with those who have gone before.
Nor do I demand aught in sacrifice, for behold, I am the Mother of all
living, and my love is poured out upon the earth.

Hear ye the words of the Star Goddess She in the dust of whose feet
are the hosts of heaven, and whose body encircles the Universe.
I who am the beauty of the green earth, and the white Moon among the stars,
and the mystery of the waters, and the desire of the heart of man,
call unto thy soul. A rise, and come unto me.

For I am the
soul of nature, who gives
life to the universe. From me all things proceed, and unto me all things must return; and before my face, beloved of Gods and of men, let thine innermost
divine self be enfolded in the rapture of the infinite.

Let my worship be within the heart that rejoiceth; for behold, all acts of
love and pleasure are my rituals. And therefore let there be beauty and
strength, power and compassion, honour and humility, mirth and reverence within
thee.

And thou who thinkest to seek for me, know thy seeking and yearning
shall avail thee not unless thou knowest the mystery; that if that which thou
seekest thee findest not within thee, thou wilt never find it without thee. For behold, I have been with thee from the beginning; and I am that which is attained at the end of desire.

For thousands of years, women have suffered denigration wearing the ball and chain attached by the Patriarchal ideology that has culminated into a world paradigm.

As I see it, our world has gone mad, and the madness stems from mans insatiable obsession with God, an obsession that leads man to kill, destroy and go beyond the limits of human understanding. Our wars are not based upon sound tangible reasoning, but is based upon different views of a belief that is only realized through faith....and stems from a male-centered divinity.

Once upon a time, peace flowed through the land, and people honored and respected the earth and it's resources. There were no gender issues because everyone knew their prospective roles and they lived them out each day. People did not live in neighborhoods and were not subjected to a class structure. People were not using crack cocaine, killing their children, robbing and looting, and destroying each other.

Men and women did not worship together, for the ways of a man are not that of a woman. Women were the counselors, the guides and probably the saying "Behind every successful man is a women" originated from these ancient times.

The world was in balance, perfect harmony. Then they came....hordes and multitudes, pillaging, raping, killing.....upsetting the balance of nature, upon orders from the King.

Christianity was a tool, that enabled those in power to exert full power over the kingdom....it was a means to an end.

Some escaped far into the forests and glens, hiding away all that they could gather to protect a way of life that suddenly vanished as if it never existed

Those that resisted were tracked down like animals and murdered, others who survived, taken as prisoners and forced to worship the new God of Mankind, forsaking the Mother, who had blessed the inhabitants of the earth since the beginning with nourishment, harmony and balance.

They knew this, and placed the Blessed Virgin alongside their God, the Christ, with a story that has been told many times. Isis, Ishtar, many Gods, same story.

The Patriarchs began their wars, killing and raping the land, disassociating the ways of the Mother with life itself.

Ironically, the earth has always been referred to as "Mother Earth", and Man (Patriarchs) have been dead set on it's destruction since they came. Our natural resources and environment are the only proof or evidence needed.

My heart goes out to Angeline Jolie and the others that have sacrificed to offer themselves toward the service of others.

The war against women has escalated....with genital mutilation in Africa, the burning of wives in India, epidemic female infanticide in China, continued Taliban style persecution in Afghanistan, and domestic violence hereā€¦ the abuse and denigration of women is still world-wide.

It's violence no matter whether it's physical or psychological, and it doesn't matter how it's experienced, the trauma and destruction usually manifests in a feeling of weakness, and lack of self esteem.

Perhaps that is what happened to Mary Winkler, the woman accused of murdering her husband, a Church of Christ pastor...discussed in the previous post. It will be interesting to see how the media treats her. We have seen the Charlotte Vice President of Wachovia, David Crespi, a catholic, disappear into the mist after suffering from stress-related issues that ulimately resulted in the stabbing to death of his five year old twin daughters. Then Mark Minor, who so distraught over a pending separation/divorce from his wife, that he murdered his two children, then turned another gun on himself and took his own life.

I'm curious to see if our patriarchal court system will allow the "Pastors Wife" the same courtesy.....and the media will be so kind as to listen to her story. I'm sure she has one....perhaps I'm wrong and she doesn't....I'd wager on this one!

There is a poisonous venom coursing through the earth, perhaps the Mother is making her presence known, perhaps she is returning, quite pissed off!
